Tips

Know what can fit in your room before you order it!

This is v important. The last thing you want is to order a full bedroom, only to find out that it all doesn't fit when it arrives. Here is a guide to show you what can fit into a certain spaces.

Please note: These floor plans do not consider free standing or built-in cupboards. So consider space for the cupboards and the doors that open!

Consider potential restrictions of getting onto the property, through the house and then into the bedroom!

This might be more important than tip no. 1! You may have worked out that a king size bed could fit into your room - but can it get through the front door, through the corridors and through the bedroom door?

Similarly, if you live in an apartment on the 12th floor, consider the following:

  1. Is the service elevator big enough to fit the bed you ordered? No? Let's try the stairs.

  2. Is the stairwell wide enough to manoeuvre the bed through? No?

  3. Can it be hoisted up onto the balcony? Yes!!

  4. But can it fit through the balcony doors into the apartment, through the corridors and into the bedroom? No?

Then maybe consider a smaller bed :)

Please note: The more complicated the delivery, the more likely that the cost of delivery will increase.
