How long will it take from start to finish?
From the day you accept the quote and make your deposit, it can take between 2 and 6 weeks to completely install your room. This is because your furniture is made to order. The longest lead time for manufacture of an item is 6 weeks.
If I love a room, but I don’t like one of the items - are there other options for me to choose from?
Yes! For example: If you love a room, but you don't like the bedside lamps used in that room, we can offer you alternative options. Just be aware that this might affect the overall price of the room, which we will of course communicate to you.
If I select an item, but I want it customised to suit my particular needs, is it possible?
Absolutely. All our furniture is sourced from local furniture manufacturers and suppliers, so if you need a smaller rug, larger desk or an extra length bed, we can have it customised for you! There may be slight cost implications, but if there are, we will be sure to let you know before we make the oder.
If I order a room and some of the items don’t quite fit at installation, can you take them back and give me a refund?
Yes. For example, if we get to you and the double bed and two side tables you ordered don't fit in your bedroom, we can always take back a side table and refund you for it. Alternatively, we can order you a 3/4 sized bed and refund you the difference in price. But please note there may be additional delivery costs.
Are there any hidden costs?
Absolutely not. The price you see is the price you will pay for everything you have ordered to be manufactured, delivered and installed. If your original order changes, then of course, so will the original quote.
May I change the paint colours?
Of course you can! It’s your room and we want you to be happy in it. Depending on the paint you choose, there may be a slight variation in price, but we'll let you know about this before painting anything.
What happens if there is a large delay in supplying a particular item?
If there is a supplier that’s taking a little while longer than usual, we will supply you with a back up until your item is ready. Alternatively, we can supply you with a different, but similar item that is readily available for you to have instead.
I ordered a desk with a desk lamp for my room, but there is no plug point, are you able to put a plug point there?
Unfortunately we are not electricians, so we won't be able to make any new electrical outlets. We can only make use of existing outlets. However we do know some electricians and are more than happy to introduce you to them. Otherwise a good old fashion extension chord also does the trick - which we can add to your order.
Do you service Johannesburg?
Unfortunately we are a Cape Town based company that only services Cape Town and it's surrounding towns - but watch this space - we'll be coming to the concrete jungle soon!
